Pete is a qualified dance teacher, trained under the guidance and support of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and he is also a recognised competition adjudicator by the British Dance Council (BDC) as well as a promoter member of the British DanceSport Association (BDSA). In November 2022 he was elected onto the Board of Trustees for the ISTD and focuses closely with the organisation on growth, diversity and legacy and is Chair of the ISTD Academy.

When Pete is not teaching, he works as a professional Master of Ceremonies for a wide variety of international dance competitions. With experience across Professional, Amateur, Pro-Am and the Equality Dance scene, Pete is often at the helm of large competitions. These include the Holiday Dance Classic – Las Vegas, FloorplayLA – California, NAEDA North American Championships, WDO World Formation Championships – Blackpool, and the IFSSDA World Championships & International Trophy.

He often comperes the EEDA European Championships and has previously been an active board member of United Kingdom Equality Dance Council (UKEDC), European Equality Dance Association (EEDA), and Federation of Gay Games (FGG). He compered the Gay Games 2018 in Paris and hopes to see you all at the Gay Games (IFSSDA World Championships) in Valencia in 2026.
